The Cabin Table

The kitchen table was the center of my home growing up. Gathering around it, our family bonded over home cooking and stories. The table’s imperfections told a rich history of cross-country moves, holidays, and fights over the last turkey leg.

Handmade in the USA.

Material: Black Walnut from central CT

Joinery: White Oak Dowel, Wedged Tenons

Finish: Plant-based Hard Wax Oil

For many families, the kitchen table isn’t always full.

When a service member is in the field, deployed to a far off land, or buried beneath a granite marker, their empty seat is a reminder of their sacrifice.

In building this table, our hope is to honor the traditions that strengthen our families and the seats that remain empty.
